About MACvet™
Our mission is to make advanced anesthesia accessible to all animals.
Every animal deserves the highest standard of anesthetic care, regardless of where they're treated. MACvet™ was founded on that belief—bringing board-certified anesthesia expertise to veterinary teams who want to do more for their patients.
Whether you're a local GP navigating a high-risk case or a specialty hospital looking to sharpen your protocols, we're here to partner with you. Based in the Chicago suburbs, we proudly serve veterinary teams across the United States.
Meet The Team
Our Anesthesiologist

Gaby Escalante
DVM, DACVAA
Co-Founder, CEO, & Veterinary Anesthesiologist
Dr. Gaby is a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist whose career has been shaped by a deep commitment to patient safety and team education.
Trained at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and honed through a rotating internship at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists in Milwaukee, she went on to complete a rigorous residency in anesthesia and pain management at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
As a supervising anesthesiologist with Premier Veterinary Group in Illinois, she discovered what drives her most: not just managing complex cases, but mentoring and empowering the teams around her to handle them with confidence.
That experience inspired her to found MACvet™, bringing advanced anesthesia expertise directly to the patients and the teams that need it most.
